Historically this area of Patterson has been agriculture in nature being primarily permanent plantings of almonds, apricots and peaches. Over the past eight years there has been a continuing transition from agriculture to industrial and commercial uses in the immediate neighborhood. During recent years Kohl's department store CVS drug store and W.W. Grainger have opened large warehouse/distribution centers adjacent to the subject property.
