Joseph Brown Named President of Edina Realty Mortgage
Edina, Minn.— May 13, 2009 – Joseph Brown has been named president of Edina Realty Mortgage. He will be leading a team of more than 70 loan officers who help customers to reach their personal and financial goals through homeownership.
An affiliate of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Edina Realty Mortgage is the second largest residential mortgage company by volume in the Twin Cities metro area, the largest real estate-affiliated mortgage provider in Minnesota and the Midwest, and a leading lender for the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency.
Brown has more than 17 years of mortgage banking experience. He joined Edina Realty Mortgage in 1995 as a home mortgage consultant and in 2000, became a branch manager and vice president. A six-time President’s Circle Winner, Brown has also received numerous awards for top-performing sales and customer service and fair and responsible lending. He has an extensive background in loan production, recruiting, training and operations.
Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of St. Thomas. He has presented continuing education seminars on topics such as short sales, foreclosures, Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and legal updates.
