Who we are

HomeServices of America, Inc.  is the second largest independent residential real estate brokerage firm in the United States and an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway, but we are also a distinctly local company. Our family of brands is comprised of market leaders with deep roots in their communities. Although while we operate on a national scale, we like to say that we are our companies—local brands helping people in the communities which they serve.

What we do

When we began in 1998, our goal was to simplify the often confusing process of buying and selling a home. We developed a strategy that integrates all the pieces of the real estate transaction puzzle—including mortgage, title, escrow, insurance and relocation—into a suite of home services that work together. Today, our companies deliver a superior customer experience that is streamlined and efficient. We have broadened and redefined the idea of what a real estate company can be: a true home services organization.
